A look ahead for June 2022

Hospital Buildings (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • Trinity (Non-Forensic) building’s façade is now complete. The Shaftesbury (Forensic) façade is still ongoing but nearing completion.

  • There are ongoing fitout works to Shaftesbury and Trinity hospital buildings.

  • Mechanical and Electrical works ongoing to both Shaftesbury and Trinity buildings.

  • All scaffolding has now been struck on both the Trinity and Shaftesbury buildings.

Civil and Infrastructure (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • Park works will be finishing in June with landscaping and grass seeding being completed. Resin is being applied to all the footpaths.

  • Tree and shrub planting is complete in the park area and maintenance will be occurring with watering.

  • Construction is progressing outside Mayfield Nursery and Gymnastics Club and both new hospital buildings, but uninterrupted access will be maintained for both parties through Share Garden.

  • Works to progress hard landscaping on Springfield Drive is ongoing.

  • First Fix, Close Up, Plaster, 2nd Fix, Decoration and Finals to apartments.

  • Completion of apartments and communal areas.

  • Scaffold strike to remaining blocks.

  • External finishes.

  • Hard and soft landscaping.

  • Legal completions.

Phase 2

  • Demolition works ongoing.

  • Drainage and services.

  • Scaffold erection and adaptions.

  • Structural alterations and repairs.

New care home facility - Plot H (delivered by Lawrence Baker)

  • Remove the crane from site. Confirmed for 16th & 17th June

  • Complete the feature brick openings to the North Elevation – Steels to be erected Monday 20th June

  • Complete the plastering works to the lower ground floor area

  • Complete all internal finishes to the bedrooms on the upper two floors

  • Complete all external hard landscaping to the North & South elevations

  • Aiming to have all incoming services, water, electricity, and district heating connected

  • All scaffolding will be removed

  • All cladding feature panels to be completed.
