A look ahead for August & September

Civil and Infrastructure (Delivered by Sir Robert McAlpine)

  • The park (area B) is open.

  • Public access is opened on Springfield Drive and Chapel Square.  Car parks in the new hospitals are open.

  • The entrance to Burntwood Lane is OPEN for both vehicle and pedestrian access.

  • Park area A is completed and currently maturing.  The pavilion is nearing completion too.  Park area A is due to open October 2024, after a period of maturing.

  • Harewood House plot handed over to the House Developer (London Square) in June 2024.

  • Park C works is complete except for seeding which has been deferred to ensure seeding occurs at the correct time of the year.  Park area C is due to open October 2024, with areas cordoned off to allow maturing.

  • District heating works down to X,Y,Z plot is progressing and reinstatement of footpath is nearly complete. Will be completed early August 2024.

  • Road 4; Lapidge Drive is completed and open for access to everyone.

  • The last substation build within the development is completed outside Phoenix Building.  Infrastructure works is completed to allow energisation early August 2024.

Block P

  • House basements complete.

  • Commenced super structure brickwork to the apartment block

  • Installing the beam and block floor to the apartment block.

  • Commenced setting out & 2nd lift scaffold.

Block Q

  • Commenced the basement excavation to the houses.

  • Commenced basement slabs and walls to the houses.

  • Ground beams to block Q1 & Q2 apartment block in progress

Block G

  • Existing substation has been deenergised and removed and the new substation energised and in use.

  • Installing the beam and block floor to the G1 & G4 apartment block.

  • Continue brickwork to G2/3.

Block F

  • SRM handed over block F to LSQ, with demolition and piling works to commence.
